Sarah has led marketing teams at startups from Series A through to acquisition multiple times. Her approach to marketing focuses on getting a deep understanding of the customer, building systems that allow for data-based decisions, and creating messages that connect with buyer needs.


While leading the marketing team at Tasktop (acquired by Planview) she built and implemented category creation programs that saw the company named leader in their new space by three independent analyst firms, helped scale the business from ~50 employees to over 200, launch multiple products and create sustainable and efficient inbound programs. At Layer 7 (acquired by CA Technologies), she created scalable field marketing and thought leadership programs that helped the company consistently rank on Deloitte’s Fast 500 list of fastest growing companies in North America.
