Hello! I'm Rusty Bishop. I’ve been a touring musician, patent-holder, PhD Biochemist, CEO/Founder, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), and now I'm jumping into fractional CMO work to help you benefit from everything I’ve learned along the way.

 

This job is entirely about you and your business. So here’s my context, in brief, to set the stage for how I can help.

During my time as founder and CEO of FatStax, a B2B software company in the sales enablement space, I worked with CMOs and Sales Leaders across a wide range of verticals. I became friends with successful entrepreneurs and other CEOs inside SaaS and heard their perspectives.

After a successful exit, I became the CMO of a publicly traded software company, Bigtincan. During my 4 year tenure, we grew revenue 52%, 53%, 48%, and 126% respectively with a mixture of organic and M&A led growth (14 acquisitions).

I saw thousands of CMOs, Sales Leaders, and Founders succeed. I analyzed how they did it with the skills I learned as PhD.
